Freelance Web Designers Needed

Reis has two projects requiring freelance graphic designers. I've provided a brief overview of each below.

The first project is for the partial redesign of www.ReisReports.com. The ideal candidate would have strong graphic design experience, excellent UI/UX skills, the ability to tell stories using visual images and a track record of turning around quality work in a timely manner. Our preference is to find someone local (NYC area), available for f2f ideation brainstorms, but I’ll consider those outside the area. While this is initially focused around a small project, we’ve got lots more design work queued up, so this could become a long-term, part-time freelance gig.

The second project is a redesign of a Wordpress blog. This one is pretty straightforward and we can probably leverage existing themes, updated with our branding and desired plugins. Ideal candidates should have a portfolio of visually appealing blogs, and have decent hands-on PHP skills. Quick turnaround is a must.

My preference for both of these projects is to find individual freelancers, available on an ongoing basis. Not looking for marketing agencies or design shops at this time.

Cool Opportunity for Superstar Graphics Designer

While this role will work largely from a home office, our preference is to find someone in the New York area who can come into the office 1-2 days each week to collaborate with the team.

Alacra is currently recruiting for a few open spots and we’d love your help in finding some “A-level” candidates.

• Sales Executive  – this is a field sales (hunter) role – need someone with a proven track record selling information services and/or technology products, ideally to the financial markets

• Product Manager (2) with experience in the Reference Data and/or Compliance/AML space

Alacra is hiring: eCommerce Manager (NYC)

Alacra is growing and one of our key growth areas is eCommerce.

The AlacraStore has become a leading source for the purchase of credit, market and investment research on the Internet. With more than 3m monthly page views, the AlacraStore generates significant traffic. We're looking for the right person to lead the growth of the Store, driving traffic and conversions.

Successful candidates should have a proven track record growing an eCommerce business, a strong understanding of SEO and online marketing and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.

Requirements:

• 3+ years marketing experience with at least two years leading e-commerce initiatives
• Deep understanding of web analytics tools
• Successful track record in online marketing, including SEO, SEM, conversion and email marketing
• Hands-on SEO experience, preferably with a large scale site
• Knowledge of business information market a plus
• Understanding of website design and development, user flow and information architecture and their impact on the customer experience
• Aggressive risk-taker with documented record of success
• Bachelors or Masters in a relevant domain
