I couldn't agree more. If Facebook does it right there will be no need (for me) for Twitter or Pownce.

Grouping contacts and interacting with those groups differently would allow us to mirror reality we all have "different circles" of friends and colleagues.

Maybe Facebook should buy LinkedIn! I'm beginning to feel like the perfect tool for me is a cross between the two - through in a feed reader (sorry Google - the one I use now) and we're set!

Barry - Good explanations on business relationships & Facebook. Since my college-age daughter is a big Facebook participant, my view was colored by her experiences. I wasn't sure why I should invest time into this platform. Understanding that it has an open architecture will help ensure new business apps.
