Fortent, the Warburg Pincus-backed provider of anti-money laundering content, has acquired Alert Global Media, publisher of Money Laundering Alert and moneylaundering.com.
Fortent is a rollup, established earlier this year through the acquisition of AML vendor SearchSpace and technology provider Semagix.
The AML software and content market has been strong as financial institutions look for ways to comply with new regulations from the Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act and Financial Service Authority requirements.
